Drive Medical Acquires Columbia Medical™; Expands Presence in Pediatric Market

Effective March 31, 2015, Drive Medical, a global manufacturer of durable medical equipment, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Columbia Medical*, a premier manufacturer of innovative complex rehabilitation products that enhance the lives of children with disabilities. For over 30 years, Columbia has manufactured high-quality assistive products such as wheelchairs, aircraft transfer chairs, bath and shower products, gait trainers and car seats. Based in California, Columbia is also known for its innovative Spirit Adjustable Positioning Car Seat and the Omni and Elite pediatric tub transfer systems.
