Drive Medical Acquires HurryCane® Brand, #1-Selling Cane in U.S.

Port Washington, New York – August 25, 2015

Drive Medical, a global manufacturer of durable medical equipment, announced today that it has acquired the entire product line of the consumer brand HurryCane®, from the Marketing Architects portfolio of companies. HurryCane®, one of the best-known and most-respected consumer brands in the healthcare market, is the #1-selling cane in the United States.

Introduced to the consumer market in 2011, HurryCane® employs a patented design that allows for maximum mobility on all terrains along with continuous balance and stability. HurryCane® products include the Freedom Edition™ and the HurryCane® Go™. Drive intends to leverage this well-known brand and market the HurryCane® products to its global network of providers, distributors and retailers. Strong consumer demand for HurryCane® products will provide additional revenue opportunities for Drive’s global network of providers, distributors and retailers.
