Port Washington, NY –October 20, 2016
Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare announced today that its Power Mobility product line has won a second product award for 2016.
“These awards are a reflection of our dedication to providing new and innovative products that help to enhance the quality of people’s lives,” said Brandon Sykes, Product Manager ‐ Power and Manual Wheelchairs for Drive DeVilbiss.
The ZooMe Flex 4‐Wheel Folding Travel Scooter recently won the HME Business New Product Award (Mobility‐Scooters category), which honors outstanding product development achievements by HME manufacturers and service providers.
Introduced to the market in May 2016, the ZooMe Flex is an ultra‐lightweight, portable scooter that offers a “flex” feature for single‐motion folding and unfolding, making it a great travel companion. The ZooMe Flex will be recognized at the 2016 Medtrade Fall Expo in Atlanta Nov. 1‐3 and featured on the HME Business website and in the December 2016 issue of the HME Business Magazine.
“The ZooMe Flex is perfect for on‐the‐go users,” Sykes said. “Unlike traditional travel scooters, the compact and lightweight design eliminates the hassle of assembly and disassembly.”
Also, in July 2016, the Drive DeVilbiss Titan Power Chair won Mobility Management’s sixth annual Best Picks Contest, where Assistive Technology Practitioners and clinicians choose their favorite assistive technology.
“The Titan was introduced by Drive to fill a need in the market for a versatile power chair that increased patient comfort and satisfaction without sparing functionality or quality,” Sykes said.
The front‐wheel drive Titan Power Chair can be configured to fit codes K0816, K0821, K0822 or K0823. With a top speed of 4 mph, the Titan can navigate in tight quarters indoors or climb small obstacles and provide great stability outdoors. It can disassemble for transport without tools and is available with 16”, 18", 20" and 22" captain’s‐style seating or a solid seat pan.
